New Parishioners

St. Bartholomew welcomes new parishioners. Please come to the parish office or call us at 416-291-5250 to register.

Everyone is encouraged to use envelopes for their regular donations so that we can issue a tax receipt. Envelopes are available from the office.

If you move out the parish, please let the office know.

Parish Registration

In keeping with the norms of the Diocese of Toronto, families seeking Baptism, First Communion or Confirmation must register as parishioners and regularly attend services at the parish before beginning preparation for these sacraments.

If you are looking forward to celebrating one of these sacraments with your child in the coming year, please take a moment to check with the office to ensure that you are registered and obtain your envelopes.

Registration forms are available in the office, or you can download a registration card here.

Marriage

Couples who are planning to be married must contact one of the deacons or the parish priest one year in advance. Couples are required to attend a personal preparation course for entering marriage. Please do not book the time and place of the wedding and reception before your appointment at the Church.

Baptism

Parents must be registered and attending the parish for at least 6 months. An information package is available at the parish office. Upon completion, there will be an interview by one of the deacons or the parish priest. The celebration of the Sacrament is on the last Sunday of the month.

For those who wish to get an updated Baptismal Certificate, we need a copy of your Birth Certificate for identification. You can just scan and send it in an e-mail. You will be notified when it is ready for pick up. If you can't pick it up, please send us a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Mass intentions

One intention per mass is available, except for Saturdays.
The Saturday morning mass is reserved for multiple intentions.

Unannounced mass intentions will be sent to the Scarboro Foreign Missions.

Holy Communion to the Sick/Shut-ins

Please contact the parish office at 416-291-5250, extension 512, to arrange.
